(REFA) and the African Foundation for Economic Growth and Empowerment (AFEGE), in collaboration with the Center for Peace and Violence Prevention (CPVP) and the National Union of Nigerian Associations in Italy (NUNAI), to advance survivor-centered advocacy, education, and international cooperation against human trafficking, femicide, and gender-based violence.
Together, these partners co-host the World Summit on Human Trafficking, Femicide, and Gender-Based Violence — bringing survivors, advocates, researchers, policymakers, and community leaders together each year to advance the Sicily Declaration's vision of a unified global response."

2025 World Summit — Palermo, Sicily
"The inaugural World Summit on Human Trafficking, Femicide, and Gender-Based Violence brought together global leaders, activists, and survivors from over 40 countries under the theme 'Uniting Voices, Building Futures, Shaping Global Action.' Five days of keynote panels, survivor-led discussions, cultural programming, and policy work at the Astoria Palace Hotel culminated in the signing of the Sicily Declaration."
