Standing Together Against Human Trafficking
Advancing awareness, survivor-centered support, global collaboration, and meaningful action against human trafficking, femicide, and gender-based violence.
Human Trafficking
Village Wellness International is dedicated to advancing awareness and understanding of human trafficking, femicide, and gender-based violence. The organization focuses on protecting human dignity by supporting education, prevention initiatives, survivor advocacy, and community engagement. Through trauma-informed and culturally responsive approaches, Village Wellness International works to create spaces where individuals affected by violence can access support, resources, and pathways toward healing. By building partnerships and sharing knowledge, the organization helps strengthen communities and promote long-term social change.
Our Collaboration
Village Wellness International works alongside Restoration for All, Inc. (REFA) and the African Foundation for Economic Growth and Empowerment (AFEGE), in collaboration with the Center for Peace and Violence Prevention (CPVP) and the National Union of Nigerian Associations in Italy (NUNAI), to advance survivor-centered advocacy, education, and international cooperation against human trafficking, femicide, and gender-based violence.
Together, these partners co-host the World Summit on Human Trafficking, Femicide, and Gender-Based Violence — bringing survivors, advocates, researchers, policymakers, and community leaders together each year to advance the Sicily Declaration's vision of a unified global response.
